Remarks of the President | back
People frequently say, "There is something special about King's College," and I most certainly agree. Our spirit is more vibrant than ever. As a former student, member of the faculty, and the first alumnus to be named president, I have seen that something does happen to students who come here. The King's community instills in its students the confidence they need in their own abilities to succeed.
The renovation of our campus will never be an end in itself. While buildings strengthen our sense of community and our pride in this place, within them the community of King's College lives, studies, learns, works, recreates, and prays.
We are indebted to you for believing in us and for investing in us. We pledge to be responsible stewards, using your gifts wisely to enhance this special place, King's College.
Rev. Thomas J. O'Hara, C.S.C., Ph.D. '71
