Time and circumstances have shown that King's College is an extraordinary college. Its original students arrived with a "can-do" attitude that set the tone for the classes that followed. College faculty are encouraged to research and publish, but never at the expense of quality teaching. Good, sound teaching was, is, and always will be the hallmark of a King's College education .

King's has become an imposing presence in the Wyoming Valley, a presence that now makes its mark far from Wilkes-Barre-in the boardrooms of American business, in the professions, in education and the arts, and through civic leadership in communities across the United States and beyond. Perhaps most significantly, the King's spirit lives in the hearts and homes of over 16,000 alumni and their families.

The College is determined to pursue larger dreams and more expansive horizons to benefit its students and their communities.

The Legacy of Excellence Campaign will seek to raise $30 million to achieve its seven priorities. We trust and pray that the fulfillment of this challenging goal will come from the hearts and hands of those touched by the College and Holy Cross traditions.
